@WouterDS yeh
NathanJY So me and @Deminoodle are out in California for this week kicking off a new client project for @m3tropoly!
RT @tonylukasavage: If you’re making a stink about getting free U2 music, you’re just being an asshole.
@WouterDS Looks familiar ;) #beenthere #donethat ;)
That moment when you have to politely tell a client that he’s got to pay his invoice by the end of the week “or else…â€
@tekkie ah, that’s interesting :D never considered that. Makes sense though.
@tekkie I do wonder though what the point of a TOS is if it can be nullified by legal entities. It’s a contract which you read and signed.
@tekkie which I think is great. But as long their not found guilty, they’re in the green.
@tekkie and let me be clear: i’m mot saying it’s okay what they do and how they go about their business. I’m just being objective here.
@tekkie that’s the problem these days: if you want your privacy respected, don’t use somebdoy’s service to do so.
@tekkie Yea but you see:on the privacy matter:what you want is irrelevant.What you agreed on in the iTunes TOS is.And Apple has that covered
Boris The iPhone is both great and unsuitable for travel. So many useful apps that drain the battery before the day is even half through.
@tekkie how did privacy get affected by this?
@tekkie I also wonder:if this was a local band that nobody heard of before, would people not applaud them for getting this huge achievement?
@tekkie if Eminem pulled the same stunt, I’d actually love it: he’d gotten somebody else to pay so I get the album for free.
@tekkie That’s business and if the day comes where I/you have to make multi-million/billion dollar decisions, we might just understand.
@tekkie but that still doesn’t explain to my why people have the relentless need to make them look bad?
@tekkie i’m pretty sure they would never have sold half a billion copies. Apple gets exposure for a great stunt. Win-win…
It fascinates me how many lengths people are willing to go through just to make a band look bad after they gifted their new album for free.
